Health promotion is the process of enabling a group of individuals to improve and increase control over their health. In occupational health and safety, health promotion focuses on the prevention and intervention that reduce the health risk factors of the employees in a company or organization. Health promotion can also be referred to as workplace health promotion and worksite health promotion.
